The Earth is Flat

The Flat Earth movement is growing by leaps and bounds. It is one of the most unusual movements that there has been, because – unlike speculative theories – it is grounded in facts. Not, picking holes or guessing. It is not speculation or conspiracy theory. It is science. The simple fact is that the more that people scoff at the very idea, the more they demonstrate that they have not looked into it.


This corner of my site is my attempt to bring together a lot of existing material on the subject of Flat Earth (FE) in a coherent manner so as to assist honest inquirers who wish to know what it is about as well as how it addresses various questions that they may have. Naturally, there are going to be ramifications in changing from such a radically different worldview, as the one that most of us have been indoctrinated to believe by the school system.

For example:

How do tides work on the FE model?
What about the constellations?
Eclipses?
Day light vs. night time?
Earth’s “edge”?
Our place in space?

It is also worth noting that there is a certain amount of disinformation about FE, out there, that is designed to deflect people from looking any further into it by adding ideas that go beyond true FE.

For example, there is The Flat Earth Society. They claim that the downward pressure of supposed gravity is explained by the plane of the earth continually rising at a rate which they measure as “1G”.

Meanwhile, just about any genuine flat earther rejects “gravity” as an unproven theory. Rather, we accept density as the explanation for the phenomena, that we are all familiar with, of objects falling. People read such nonsense, and they conclude that is what we are pushing.

Sir Isaac Newton required some form of a law of attraction in order to develop his invented universe of stars and planets. “Gravity” was his solution. Surprisingly, gravity, as he defined it, has never been proven. With all of the hubris, one would think the reverse.

Of course, when someone with no true knowledge of FE, but who has been raised with an attitude of ridicule toward the idea all of his or her life, first attempts to research the subject, the entire idea of the earth being flat already sounds unscientific and far-fetched enough, as it is, to him. Therefore, when he finds sites, such as The Flat Earth Society, which, either, substitute strange speculative claims (such as an equally unexplained acceleration of 1G), or, which mix in wild conspiracy theories from other subjects, then, it quickly begins losing its last hope of credibility to his propagandized mind and he discards it without a true hearing. As intended, he misses out on all of the legitimate science and fact that is available and which just might persuade him that this is not only a genuine subject, but, that it has a firmer foundation than all of the entertainment and cartoons which NASA and the theory of a globe earth have – for a long time – been getting away with presenting as “evidence”.

The so-called debunking sites are disingenuous as well. There is one, in particular, that comes up frequently. It purports to debunk Eric Dubay’s flagship work, “200 Proofs…”, but I have found its claims and arguments to be dishonest or semantical. Many globers seem to access those sites, instead of FE sites, whenever they are claiming to objectively research Flat Earth. They obviously fear to have their preconceptions challenged in ways that would obligate them to stand apart and be different from society’s mindless “mainstream” – if they were scientifically honest. In the end, a sheep’s argument is always “The earth is a globe because the earth is a globe”. The debunking sites subtly play to that mentality and reinforce it.

Censorship:

YouTube, while a fine repository of many FE videos, has a bit of a problem with the FE genre. One might say that they are, ardently, involved in trying to discredit it.

The former is a new example, in my experience. I have only lately been noticing it appearing on the thumbnails for embedded videos. The latter tag, however, has been appearing under FE videos, hosted on their server, for a long time, now.

While not quite “censorship”, this policy is obviously an outgrowth from the new phenomenon of publishers arbitrarily labeling content as “disinformation” according to their own criteria. The old Wikipedia disclaimer beneath each video was bad enough. The additional tag appearing right on the thumbnail is a bit much, one might think.

In fact, one might also think that YouTube feels rather threatened by what the Flat Earth Movement has to say. 🤔

Why should that be if the entire idea is so thoroughly debunked that it is laughable, hardly worthy of a serious discussion and most people have been propagandized to already believe as much?

Why not just allow us to rave that men may know us mad? 🤪 Why not just allow us to look stupid for all to see?

Precisely because Globe Earth is propaganda.
It is not “science”, and, it is certainly not “proven”.

Precisely, because Flat Earth evidence has the true scientific rigor and appeal that wins over those who are in fact persuaded by science – rather than by popular-think and consensus, in general.

Precisely, because we are obviously right. 😎
